| | Model of the car: | 626 V6 LX Manual | | | General comments: | The best buy in V-6 Japanese sedans. The Maxima is a better car, but not $6-9000 better. The 165-170 (depending on exhaust system) horsepower on the V-6 provides plenty of acceleration with a car this weight. Mazda makes plenty of these with manual transmissions, whereas it's not available at all with a V-6 and a manual on an Accord, and is hard to find with similarly configured Camrys and Maximas. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Drivers seat is so-so, styling is bland, rough coasting in first gear, no door lock control on passenger side, gas mileage less than rated (I get 22 mpg city or highway, but I have a winddragging bike rack on top) |
