Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme FE3
| | Model of the car: | Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme FE3 | | | General comments: | I have had this beast for 4 years and i can't kill it. I bought it with 80,000 mi on it and it now has 175,000 mi. The tranny is still as smooth as it was new. I drive it very hard and very often, but yet it continues to run. This '88 was clearly ahead of it's time with 4 wheel disk breaks, digital dash, power everything, and several other things that we have come to expect of the modern car. Overall I have been pleased with the perfomance of this car. The stiff suspension offers great handeling and cornering. Although the 2.8 v-6 doesn't put out much power, it pushes the mid-sized vehical down the road just fine. Exterior styling is very reserved and the interior provides lots of room and is very comfortable. Too bad oldsmobile had to stop producing the cutlass supreme in '97. I think these quality cars would still sell well in today's market. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Too much up-keep is needed to keep the rear disk breaks working (rarely work) | | | Previous car: | '95 Grand Prix |
